Guarantee, Terms and Conditions

7 YEAR GUARANTEE

  1. If at any time within seven years from the date of completion, the customer notifies the company of any defect in the product or failure to install the product in a proper workman-like manner, then the company will make good such defect or, if necessary, replace the product at no expense to the customer.
  2. Alloy Glass & Railing’s guarantee is valid only when payment in full is made within 5 working days of completion of works.
  3. Alloy Glass & Railings guarantees that the materials which will be supplied will contain no defects and that the installation will be carried out in a proper workman-like manner.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

It is always the intention of all the people at Alloy Glass & Railings to do the right thing by our customers. We know that a happy customer can help grow our business.
  1. The surface to which product is to be installed must be accessible, finished, and free of obstruction.
  2. Finished surfaces to which the product is being installed must be of solid construction and stable. Where a surface or the site proves unstable or unsuitable for attaching the product
    (i) The parties may agree a Variation to cover incremental costs and margin or
    (ii) Alloy Glass & Railings is entitled to recover all reasonable costs and margins attributable to the project.
  3. Tiled and Paved surfaces : The customer expressly warrants that all tiles, pavers, glue, and / or tile bed – including the edges – are flat, level, stable, solid and firmly fixed.
    (i) No liability or responsibility is accepted by Alloy Glass & Railings in the event of cracked tiles – whether apparent before or after installation of balustrades.
    (ii) If for any reason the customer decides to terminate the contract as a consequence of cracked tiles, the Alloy Glass & Railings is entitled to recover all reasonable costs and margins attributable to the project.
    (iii) Neither the customer nor Alloy Glass & Railings can know the exact location and depth of pipes, conduits, or wiring. If damage should occur to any underground pipes, conduits, or wiring Alloy Glass & Railings will pay only the first $200 in repairs.
  4. Where the customer is a company, the person whose signature appears hereon, hereby personally guarantees the performance by the customer of all obligations.
  5. Title in goods does not pass until full and final payment is made. Where legitimate amounts remain unpaid more than a month after installation, permission is hereby granted for Alloy Glass & Railings to enter the property and remove the goods. Alloy Glass & Railings is under no obligation whatsoever to refund earlier payments or complete the job a second time.
